Mythology of Time - A Forgotten whom exists in a period of time, rather than a point of time. Saves and attacks automatically fail against it unless it is aligned to the current moment of time. As a result, Chronos is able to establish Temporal Continuity between two periods of time, preventing continuity errors from occuring in the later part of time by warping the effects of the past to nullify certain influences on Creatures in the future. For such influenced Creatures, Chronos effectively takes control of their current position in time, and events that occur in Chronos' "past" data do not change the current period of time. However, the Creatures whom are influenced by this effect may obtain new memories from a past that they didn't otherwise experience.

Time Phase -

Chronos can lock an area up to roughly 30-40km in a Time Phase so long as it has access to a subspace conduit with influence over the area. The conduit henceforth acts as an artery between its time phases. It can do so without needing observational data of the area. The process is instant.

A Time Phase creates a bubble of warded, Contra Motion domain. Upon initial use of this ability, Chronos performs one of the following -

Observational Phase - Establishes the Observational Phase for Suspended Space. The Observational Phase functions similar to the Suspension Phase, but has a time drift and creates temporal continuity. Chronos "lags" a portion of himself behind present time while maintaining his position in present time. A Subspace Conduit of some nature is necessary to obtain this effect, as Chronos duplicates and warps the motion of elemental energy in the region. No tangible effects of this presence can be sensed by most Creatures or traditional spellcraft. However, it is possible for some creatures to travel into the observational period through the subspace conduit, but only if Chronos allows them to. These are for the creatures for which Chronos establishes temporal continuity - chronos can determine if their actions impact its influence in present time (reverse causality) or if they do not. Creatures whom leave the influence of Chronos for whatever reason, such as by walking out of the region of the observational phase, are bumped back into present time - perhaps with devastating consequences.

State 2 - In State 2, Chronos has chosen to actually activate Time Phase, establishing Suspension and creating a Domain. Its effects are similar to Observational Phase, but during Suspension, Chronos has fully established a domain and creatures cannot escape its influence without breaking it.

Create Suspension - Collects and stores locational data, objects and creatures it chooses in a suspended state held in a mental phase. The remainder of the area proceeds with time normally, with afflicted creatures ceasing to exist in the instant the ability is activated. Certain creatures, specifically Kami of a high enough divinity or creatures whom are intrinsically aware of the domain, may attempt a contest to prevent being pushed into suspension. Else, they are completely unaware that anything has happened unless witnessing the transition event when the second portion of the ability activates.

Time Phase Soft Lock - When Chronos first activates this ability and chooses to suspend an area, it may choose to not freeze time for the suspended location, but instead slow time - and it may choose to slow time at different levels for individual objects or entities and change these parameters at a whim. Since the entire location becomes a domain controlled by Chronos, it is possible for Chronos to allow creatures to live decades in realworld seconds. This way, Chronos can control an area and seamlessly allow realworld time to advance forward in a way that allows it to predict future events before alignment. Since this constitutes as a partial alignment, it is possible for entities from the future to "travel to the past", but they are forced into present time if they travel too far from the area of Chronos' influence.

Time Phase Activation - Alignment

When Chronos desires, it may activate the "Suspension phase" and "align" it to the current state of time. Henceforth, it duplicates the location data, objects, and other non-living entities it duplicated with the first part of the ability. Creatures whom were trapped in the suspended state of time are re-activated in a seamless manner and all perception of time manipulation completely ceases, effectively creating a controlled bubble, with the exception that the bounds of the location are shrouded in Mist of the Last Star. To pass the mist requires a DC 32 Domain Contest, which will push creatures into present time and break the suspension. Else, they take 14d10 Force damage for every second they spend within the mist as the subspace conduit tears them apart. The location of the suspended area in present time is also shrouded in this mist, stabilizing the subspace activity of both areas and allowing the suspended location to advance in time in accordance to present time.

By manipulating the subspace conduit, creatures may travel between both present time and the suspended data so long as the conduit does not attempt to leave the area. If the subspace conduit breaches the locational data of the effected location, the suspended data will be destroyed and anything still within it is instantly destroyed.

Alignment has two stages to its activation.

Stage 1  - Regional Alignment - When Chronos desires, it can align regional data only, and only portions at a time, by using the conduit as an anchor. This allows creatures from the suspended location to exist without alignment to present time. However, creatures from the suspended data cannot use the conduit to travel to present time.

Stage 2  - Synchronization - When the suspended data is completely aligned to present time, it is no longer possible for Chronos to manipulate the perspective of time for individual entities, and any entities contained in suspension data that were "frozen" are reactivated, and any entities that were not effectively "cease to exist" for those in suspension data, isolating both periods from each other. Temporal Continuity is no longer necessary because suspension data is now an isolated realm entirely maintained by Chronos, but the passage of time is identical to that of real-time.
