Darkness of the Starlit Heart

A soul of darkness crafted by the Black King and Ryel that has fed upon four thousand disciplined knights of the Silver Order to grant it shape in the world defined by the identity of Man. It was destroyed during the Unveiling, but reincarnated by the Mad King through the Veil, and is warped by the shadows therein. Peril awaits those whom fall under its touch.

 

Koheem is a Phantasm that bonds to its wielder. Its effects are always passively active unless it is being suppressed in some manner.

 

Level 1 -

 

Aspect of the Night B - When you perform a Critical Strike with a spell or weapon attack on a living, organic creature, you are healed for half (rounding up) the damage you deal. This is increased to a full heal when you are in Total Darkness.

 

Darkness of the Heart - Veil Demons and their ilk can always see you, even when you are Obscured, Hidden or Invisible. Furthermore, you can always sense them when they are nearby. This effect is dramatically increased in potency if you are Veil Touched or dwell within Veil Domain.

 

Starblooded Saint - You have Resistance to Moonsilver damage.

 

Vampiric Soul C+ - You constitute as Undead for unit type checking (e.g. Paladin, Cleric spells) and take extra damage from Radiant spells. You are considered scarred at the genetic level and creatures with Mystic Eyes whom depend on such effects can read you accordingly. If you spend one hour feeding upon the fresh body of a living creature you recover 1d4 Hit Dice. This feature restores at the end of a Long Rest. Each time you perform this act you gain 1 Koheem Affinity.

 

Level 2 -

 

Mourning Night C - When you deal damage with a Critical Strike on a living creature, you deal an additional 1d8 High Function Necrotic damage.

 

Aspect of the Sun C - You gain 1 AC while wearing light or no armor.

 

Memories of Koheem E - You gain Expertise in Performance when conducting music, dancing or otherwise performing entertainment for or with nobility, churches, and clergy.

 

Level 3 -

 

Altruism of the Night - You can stand on most liquids as though they are solid ground. You cannot lose your way in non-magical Darkness. When using Hit Dice in Total Darkness, you always restore the maximum amount of health possible. You can breathe in smoke and Veil Domain.

 

Aspect of the Night B+ - When you perform a Critical Strike with a spell or weapon attack on a living creature, you are healed for the damage you deal. This is increased by 50% when you are in Total Darkness.

 

Level 4 -

 

Curse of the Nightdweller - You can expend your Hit Dice as Damage Dice when dealing damage with an attack. However, you take damage equal to the damage you deal. The damage type for this attack is High Function Radiant. If this damage is dealt as part of a Critical Strike, you do not heal the damage from this dice, deal double damage dice, and only take half the resulting damage.

 

Vampiric Soul B - You no longer take Extra damage from Radiant sources.

 

Level 5 - - Requires 30 Koheem Affinity
